Who are we?

We are a small but fiercely dedicated team of people who have lived the reality of water scarcity.

We have felt the pain of waking up every day knowing that the most basic human need—clean water—was not guaranteed. We’ve walked miles to find water, seen the sickness that contaminated water brings, and experienced the heartbreak of knowing that, despite surviving, so many others did not. We carry these memories with us every day, and that’s why we’ve made it our mission to help. We are not just outsiders trying to lend a hand—we are survivors, and we know, deep in our hearts, the life-saving power of clean water. We’ve lived this struggle. We’ve seen firsthand the faces of mothers who fear that the water they give their children might bring illness instead of relief. We’ve seen fathers, exhausted from spending entire days just searching for water, only to return with barely enough to survive. And we know this struggle is not just ours—it’s shared by hundreds of millions across Africa and the world.

But we also know we’re not the answer. Let’s Dig Wells is not the final solution. Our small team, as passionate and committed as we are, cannot solve this alone. If there were 1,000 other organizations like ours, it still wouldn’t be enough. The need is simply too vast. The crisis is beyond what any one organization—or even 100—can address. But this doesn’t mean we’ll stop trying. Far from it. It means we will fight harder. Because even if we can’t help everyone, we can help someone. We can change one life. One family. One community.

And this is where you come in. We need you—not just your donation, but your voice, your heart, your passion. We need you to stand with us in this fight to bring clean water to communities that are crying out for help. The need is overwhelming, yes, but that’s why every person matters. Every dollar matters. Every shared story, every small act of kindness matters.

Together, we can reach one community at a time. Together, we can change the life of one child who might otherwise grow up knowing only sickness and suffering. Together, we can offer hope to families who’ve known nothing but struggle.

We may not be enough on our own, but with you—yes, you—we can be a force for change. Share the stories of those in need. Tell the world that there are people who are still waiting for something as simple, as essential, as clean water. And help us give them what they deserve—the chance to live, to thrive, to survive. Join us in this fight. Together, we can dig wells, restore hope, and transform lives.
